When Coldplay's touring crew lands in Kuala Lumpur three weeks before showtime, the stadium is still an empty shell. What follows is a logistical operation involving over 400 crew members, 60 trucks of equipment, and a stage design built around the band's signature light-up wristbands.
Production manager Alison Reyes walked our reporter through the build, from rigging the main truss to calibrating the thousands of Xylobands synced to the setlist. "Every show is basically built and torn down in under a month," Reyes explained.
